Youth Services RFP Questions and Answers
Q. Does the amount listed in
the RFP of $300,000 intended to cover only operating expenses? Or
should the bidder project amounts of money to be used on participant
training, incentives, supportive services, etc.? If so, has
the board established a standard as to an acceptable proportion for
each?
A. The amount listed in the
RFP is intended to cover operating expenses. The bidder should
project amounts of money to be used on participant training,
incentives, supportive services, etc. The board has not
established a standard as to an acceptable proportion for each.
The amount available for training, incentives, supportive services,
etc. for youth services this program year was $32,500 (9.56% of the
contracted amount). Depending on funding, amounts available
for training, incentives, supportive services, etc. may come from
the projected contract amount of $300,000 however, for planning
purposes, please assume funds available for training, incentives,
supportive services, etc. will be in addition to the projected
contract amount.
